Readathon Update – 16 hours

October 23, 2011 Readathon 3

Unfortuantely not much reading got done (about 100 pages) and the Badger game was a bust.  I did take a short nap so I will hopefully last longer.  I’m currently watching Hocus Pocus (my favorite halloween movie) and reading Dedication, it’s pretty good so far.  I’m hoping to finish this book before I can’t keep my eyes open any longer.

It’s definitely harder during the later hours, but you can do it! Try to take a super short nap if you really need to. And Hocus Pocus is my favorite Halloween movie too… which is strange, considering that it’s not a violent horror movie, neither is Arsenic and Old Lace, which is my second favorite.

Lots of people were talking about the football game on twitter! Must have been a good one.

    I know you’re tired
    And losin’ the fire
    You’d rather be sleeping
    But keep on reading!!

You can do it, go Kim!!

    Hi, Kim! ;)

I would have to agree with Kate and Trish. You can do it. But if you’re feeling too sleepy already, just take a nap then come back towards the end so we can all smile and say “we all did it!”

Tweet me (@travelingreadr) if your eyes are starting to droop and you’d want to stay awake a bit longer. I’ll keep the cymbals out just for you. ;)

The rest of the owls are keeping it happy and sane by reading. Just use twitter hash tags @readathon and/or #cheergolden to join in on the fun! ^_^
