Sunday’s in Bed with… Lola and the Boy Next Door

March 18, 2012 In Bed With... 11

My friend Kate at Midnight Book Girl has started a new feature on Sunday mornings to share with everyone what you’re reading in bed Sunday morning before getting to the days activities.

Today, I’m slightly cheating as I’ve already been up and back from church.  Normally I get up early enough to do some reading before heading out however last night I got home late because I was over at Kate’s house watching some awesome Irish movies (and eating way too much food).  I have a serious amount of work that needs to be done however the book I reading right now is begging to be finished so I’m going to crawl back in to bed and finish it before starting the rest of my day.

The book I’m reading is…

Lola and the Boy Next Door

I’m really liking this book.  It’s cute and funny.  And I love Lola’s outrageous outfits.

So, what are you reading this Sunday?

I need to get back to Anna and the French Kiss, but I have to finish Being Friends with Boys and re-read Hunger Games. Where were the days when I had nothing to read?! I went to church this morning too- took my Mom to the Catholic church down the street, but I was miserable because I ate too much and drank too much caffeine last night and not enough water. But I had fun!

I can’t remember the last time I had nothing to read. Which is, of course, a good thing. All your miserableness was worth it because Saturday was so much fun. I think we need to do it more often!

I loved Lola and Cricket! I liked it better then Anna and the French Kiss, although they are both easy adorable reads!

Glad you guys had fun last night! I didn’t have high hopes for Leap Year, but I actually really liked it!

I did things backwards and I read Lola before Anna, but I liked Anna so much in Lola that I plan on reading it very soon.

Leap Year was good. It’s not something I would watch over and over and over again but it was cute!

llooooooooove Lola and Cricket. I kind of cheated too. I haven’t had a chance to read yet today and I usually spend my sundays at the gym. Just got home tho and am going to do a bit of reading before getting my stuff together for work this week. :) Can’t wait to read your review on this.

A bit late I know, its now Monday afternoon here, BUT yesterday I finished my latest read, Lyrics Alley by Leila Aboulela, and am still trying to decide if I enjoyed it or not.
Oh well, here’s to many more Sunday mornings spent reading in bed.

I hate when I have mixed feelings about a book. I would almost rather read a book that I don’t really like than one that I can’t decide on. Good luck figuring it out!

Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day! :) I haven’t read this book, but I’m in love with her purple hair!!! I’m such a good little consumer; I’m adding this book solely on the basis that Lola can rock an awesome hairdo. lol (of course, you’re positive review doesn’t hurt it)

Lola rocks some awesome hairdos and clothes. I have to say that I really really liked this book, so therefore everyone should read it ;)
