Spring Fever: Top Ten Books I’d Play Hooky With.
Insurgent1. Insurgent by Veronica Roth – I am already planning on rearranging my schedule a bit so I can read this book as soon as I get home from work.

2. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver – I know, shameful!  I think if I would have bought the ebook I would have read it already because I have had more opportunities at work than at home.

3. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – I devoured Lola and the Boy Next Door and I can easily seeing myself devouring this one.

4. JK Rowling’s new book – I don’t even know what it’s about yet and I know I will read it immediately upon it’s release.  How could I not, it’s JK Rowling!

Pandemonium5. Sequel to The Host if Stephanie Meyer ever writes one – I loved The Host more than Twilight and I really really want a sequel.

6. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson – I have put this book off for too long.

7. The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson – I am currently reading this, but I having a hard time finding the time (another one I wish was an ebook) so playing hooky would be a good opportunity to read it.

8. The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin – I cannot wait for this book!

The Name of the Star9. Absolutely anything Sophie Kinsella writes – I could easily miss work for her.

10. Harry Potter books by JK Rowling Probably the only reread I would miss work over.

What books would you play hooky with?

Wow, EVERYBODY is saying Insurgent, and I haven’t even read Divergent yet…
I’ve read Anna but not Lola, you’ll love Anna I’m sure (I did and I don’t even usually read Romance/Chick lit.
And super YES to a sequel for the host!!!

I love Harry Potter. I think it’s time for me to reread them all. Looove Anna and the French Kiss and The Name of the Star. And I can’t wait to read Insurgent.

I totally agree with so many of the books on your list! I can’t wait for Insurgent and J.K. Rowling’s new book! And I loved The Host, too! I’m not sure if I want a sequel, though… But I’m looking forward to the movie (even though I have no idea how they’re going to pull off the whole Melanie/Wanderer internal discussions). And I still need to read Delirium, The Name of the Star, and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (those last two are on my shelf, so hopefully I’ll get to them soon!). Great list, and thanks for stopping by my TTT!
