Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and Bookish.
Top Ten Books You Can Read in a Day
Most of these are books that I’ve read in a day myself, or I could have if I would have had the time.
Lola and the Boy Next Door1. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.  I would have read this book in a day if I wouldn’t have already made plans to spend the day in St. Patrick’s Day fun.

Divergent2. Divergent by Veronica Roth.  I devoured this book.  Devoured it.  I have already made plans to adjust my schedule so I can read Insurgent the day it comes out.

I've Got Your Number3. I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.  I almost read this book in a day.  I only had a few chapters left but couldn’t keep my eyes open.

Anna and the French Kiss4. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.  I didn’t read this book in a day, I read it in a couple of hours.  I had just picked this up at the library on the way to getting my car fixed and finished it before they finished my car!

The Hunger Games5.The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  I believe I read all 3 in a matter of a week, but this was the only one I finished in a day.

HP and the Sorcerer's Stone6. Harry Potter (The Sorcerer’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets) by JK Rowling.  I think I read every book except for the Goblet of Fire and The Half Blood Prince in a day but books 4-7 aren’t really practical to have on this list because they are really big.  The Prisoner of Azkaban is a maybe for this list.

Deadly Cool7. Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday.  Cute, Funny and a superfast read.  I’m sooooo looking forward to Social Suicide.

Winter's Bone8. Winter’s Bone by Daniel Woodrell.  While I didn’t personally care for the book, almost everyone else in my book club loved it, and it’s really short, less than 200 pages.

Life as We Knew it9. Life as We Knew it by Susan Beth Pfeffer.  This is written diary style which makes it easy to read and I could not put this book down.

Statistical10. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith.  This could easily be read in a day.

This is such a great list! I’ve read some of these, and the ones I haven’t read I definitely plan on doing so soon!

    Thanks for stopping by! :)

Kimberly this is a great list. I actually have a few of those books waiting to be read and I really need to read them soon. Hmm a long train ride would work :)

Everyone is putting statistical probability on there, so now I have to get it for the readathon. I really wanted to put Deadly Cool on my list, but I couldn’t because I was sick and travelling and didn’t read it in a day. By the time I found a chunk of time to read it, I read most of it in a day, but… :)

I just left a really long comment on Steph’s blog explaining how I am actually a terribly slow reader so I can’t imagine reading any of those books in one day! But I can definitely see how all of those would be books that would suck you in and keep you captivated to where you would want to read it in a day! They are all great choices!

Awesome list… I really need to read some of these! Life As We Know It has been lingering on my tbr shelf forever. How do I not own Divergent? WTH is wrong with me?!

  7. Heidi

Excellent list! I really really want to get to Divergent, I’ve Got Your Number, and Lola and the Boy Next Door asap. All of them. Can’t wait!

  8. Reve @ YA-Books.com

Great list! We have quite a few books in common :).

I keep seeing Statistical Probably around, and it’s making me more and more excited to read it. I really need to grab a copy of it tomorrow – it sounds like the book was absolutely made for me XD.

I keep meaning to read Deadly Cool, especially since I’ve been seeing Social Suicide gearing up for release. Great picks! I hear I’ve Got Your Number is a really great Kinsella, really funny – have to remember to read it!

Thanks for stopping by my list!

I’m a pretty slow reader so I didn’t participate in this week’s TTT – I think I’ve only ever read a few books in one day, and most of those were Harry Potter books on the day they came out! ;) I have Life as We Knew It, and the other books in that series, sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to them soon! Great list – I love so many of the books you picked! ;)

I really want to read Divergent and Anna. I love the Hunger Games and HP, of course! I recently reread HG in one day, too! haha (Did you see the movie?)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
