BEA Edition – What upcoming releases are you most looking forward to?

None.  Zero.  Zip.  Nada.  I am not looking forward to any new releases because I will not be buying any.  My self imposed book buying ban in May was not a success, though it wasn’t a complete failure.  At least I stayed within my book budget for the month.  But I have a ton of books already and I have a gazillion books on my ereader that I tend to forget about because I don’t physically see them.  I’m also going to BEA next week, so I’m not looking at any new releases.  I swear I am not going to buy a single book in June.  And maybe July.  Maybe I should just stick with June for now.

Huntley Fitzpatrick My Life Next DoorHowever, there are two books coming out this summer that I really want, one of them I have already pre-ordered.  The other I’m just going to think about.  Probably a lot.

I really want to read My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick.  But I have a gazillion other books.  So I’m going to hold off on this one.  For now.

Kendare Blake Girl of NightmaresGirl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake.  I’ve already read it (Thanks Erin!) and loved it.  I preordered it before I read it and I can’t wait to see how pretty it looks on my shelf next to Anna Dressed in Blood.  I know you’re probably thinking “why are you buy a book you’ve already read and not the one you really want to read?”  Well, I really, really want girl of nightmares and I there is always a chance I might not like My Life Next Door so…  Plus I preordered it before I read it.

My reivew of My Life Next Door will go up on Monday, but I’ll e-mail you my review early. :) I loved it! And I am seriously excited for Girl of Nightmares. My Book Blogger Hop will go up tomorrow. I wanted to do another Looks From Books, but there just wasn’t time. So sad!

Both books sound great! I’ve have tried to ban myself from buying books in the past and it never works! It’s a sickness.

I’m glad to hear you liked Anna Dressed in Blood, since we’ve talked about how we like creepy but not scary. So I’m glad to hear that it’s not too scary!

I hope you have a blast at BEA!!!
