Suffering From a Book Hangover

July 10, 2013 Random Thoughts on Books and Blogging 3

Random Thoughts on Books and Blogging is my opportunity to discuss my bookish and blogging thoughts, whenever I feel like!

Ever finish a book that was so good, so amazing, that you can’t even think about picking up another book?

That’s me right now.

Kasie West Pivot PointI’ve read quite a few good books this year but this is the first time that I finished a book and I’m just not ready to pick up the next one, or pick up one of the other books I’m reading.

I finished Pivot Point late on Tuesday and I can’t stop thinking about how awesome it was and how much I want the next book RIGHT NOW that I have no interest in reading (or listening) anything else right now.

I just want to wallow in Pivot Point a bit more.

Anyone else suffer from book hangovers?

Now I understand why you didn’t want to read my review of PP :). It was quite a delightful book – maybe to further that hangover, you could read The Distance Between Us? I’ve heard only good things about West’s second book.
