BB New Years Challenge * Books I’m Sad I Missed

January 3, 2014 BB New Years Challenge 6

newyearschallengeParajunkee is hosting a Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge and it’s just what I need to get in back in the swing of things!

There is a new topic each day for the first 14 days of 2014. You can read all about it here and I hope you join in the fun!

Day 3: Books of 2013 I am sad I missed

So many books, so little time!

Here are a few that I’m sad I missed:

1. Shadowlands by Kate Brian

Super excited to read this one, preordered it and everything, and it’s still sitting on my shelf.

2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I’ve heard sooooo many good things about Rainbow Rowell and I was determined to read one of her books but it just didn’t happen!

Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer Kate Alender3. Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer by Kate Alender

Also excited about this one, and I just got it for Christmas so now I have no excuse! (Really sad that my copy doesn’t have the blood spatter on it.)

4. All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

Time travel/parallel universe was a new interest for me in 2013 and I’ve been looking forward to this one.

5. Belladonna by Fiona Paul

Another one that I preordered that’s still sitting on my shelf!

lol, I am so conditioned to do top ten lists that I did ten without realizing that the question doesn’t specify how many I have to list. Sigh. Also, all of the books are your list are books I too wish I had read in 2013, and all but Belladonna I actually own, but somehow still didn’t make it onto my list of 10. Seriously, my list could have spanned 100 books or more and I’m sure that number will just go up in 2014. I’m so excited that you’re reading The Program and Shatter Me, btw. ;)

Oh believe me I could have kept going! So. Many. Books.

I actually stopped reading Shatter Me. I had a brief confusing moment between it and The Program so that one is on pause until I finish listening to The Program. They are just a little two similar to make it work!

I accidentally requested Shadowland’s sequel from Netgalley and read enough to ruin the ending of the first book. /sigh. I think I’m going to wait a few months and see if I can forget most of what I read before reading the series now.
